Ramaz School: Krav Maga
We have developed a comprehensive self-defense and awareness program exclusively for Ramaz School students. This semester-long course, crafted by an IDF veteran and Krav Maga specialist, emphasizes the integration of healthy minds and bodies.
This 10-session program offers practical self-defense techniques and safe, active strategies to empower students to protect themselves. Key areas of focus include:
Situational Awareness: Recognizing and interpreting surroundings, identifying red flags, and understanding behavioral cues from others to avoid dangerous situations.
Posture and Body Language: Understand and project confident body language to deter potential threats while walking in the street or on public transportation.
De-escalation Techniques: Employing strategies to defuse potential conflicts, aiming to prevent physical confrontations whenever possible.
Adaptability: Learning to adapt to diverse situations, people, and environments effectively.
Krav Maga Training Through Interactive Learning: Engaging students in fun, interactive sessions to develop self-defense skills. Students will practice dealing with bullies and effectively respond to the most common threats on the streets of NYC through various reality-based Krav Maga scenarios to ensure their safety.
Each class is an hour long, ensuring a thorough and engaging learning experience. Join us to build resilience, confidence, assertiveness, and the skills to safely navigate and respond to today's challenges.
